GRUB & INSECT CONTROL

GRUB CONTROL

Grubs, sometimes called grub worms, are cream-colored, C-shaped larvae that burrow into the soil to feed on grass roots. If feeding is severe, grubs can kill large areas of lawns.  A continued infestation can be devastating to your lawn and attract animals, such as raccoons and skunks. Your Truly Green technician is trained to identify the early signs of infestation and stop grubs before they cause major damage to your lawn. Our all-natural treatment uses an application of beneficial nematodes in fall, soon after new grub larvae have hatched. This approach to grub control is effective because it fights grubs at the root zone, where they live and feed.

INSECT CONTROL

When your yard looks brown, you might think you just need to water more, but what you really need is surface insect control. Chinch bugs, sod webworms, and cutworms all cause stress to your turf, which can lead to dry and dead looking patches. If you have been watering frequently, but you can’t seem to bring your yard back to life, it is possible that you could have a bug problem. Our certified technicians at Truly Green have been trained to identify these surface insects and get rid of them once and for all!
